Founded in 2013 by Nick Law, a self-confessed coffee nerd, Bean Shot is a successful artisan coffee roaster based in Somerset. Our team of dedicated experts scour the globe for the finest coffee beans, forging long-standing relationships with growers, producers and co-operatives.

At Bean Shot we roast our beans daily with the care and attention they deserve. We are passionate about serving our customers the perfect cup of coffee - whether it’s in person at our Sherborne coffee bar or in the post via our online shop. Nick Law

Founder

Nick ran a successful corporate consulting firm in Sydney for 14 years before becoming New South Wales Manager for a high profile Sydney coffee roaster, curiously creating a new revenue channel in speciality tea!

In 2013 Nick moved to the UK with his wife and family. He launched Bean Shot shortly after - with the aim of bringing world class “Antipodean” style roasted coffees to the UK.

Graham Cox

Operations & Retail Director

Graham began his coffee journey in 2010, training as a barista for a well know high street brand. His talent and passion saw him progress rapidly from head barista to store manager.

Graham joined Bean Shot in 2013, developing our barista training offer, organising programmes for UK and overseas clients and launching our retail business. Graham is key to Bean Shot’s retail success and is passionate about coffee innovation and product development.

Alex Brinsford

Barista & Head Roaster

Alex joined Bean Shot from a hospitality background and quickly demonstrated his professionalism and customer focus working at our Sherborne coffee bar.

After only 6 months, Alex added coffee roasting and green coffee selection to his list of skills. Today he splits his time between barista duties, coffee roasting and researching coffee producers.
